Hope Not Handcuffs is a collaborative effort between Tri-County Community Partnership, law enforcement and other organizations to help those addicted to opiates and other substances. If a person comes to a designated police department seeking help, our team will work to get them into treatment as soon as possible. To make this program a success, we need over 50 “Angel” volunteers. Angels help with paperwork and provide compassionate support until a treatment option is found. Angel's can choose their own time slot by signing up to be on call for just 1 six-hour block per month, or whenever you like!
It is our goal to have Angels arrive at a participating police department within 30 minutes of call.
Now searching for Angels in the areas of : Rockland County
